Large Upcycled CD Sea Glass Statement Earrings
A favourite of KTCD Upcycled’s CD Sea Glass collection, these statement earrings are designed to look like pieces of broken glass – shards of recycled CD that make a unique addition to any outfit. Every piece of CD ‘sea glass’ is made of two layers of reclaimed CD: the labels are stripped and the CDs are fired together, before being cut into shape and filed. Some of the label is often left behind, giving a unique silver pattern through each piece. Recycled CD is a lightweight, unique material, turned into wearable pieces of art at their studio in North London. As each pair is handmade, there may be some small differences from the photographs.
