Kaweco Brass Sport Fountain Pen – Iconic Pocket Pen in Solid Brass

Originally designed in 1911, the Kaweco Sport quickly became a classic for its clever pocket-sized format and distinctive octagonal design. Compact when closed yet comfortable when posted, it remains one of the most recognisable fountain pens in the world.

Measuring just 10.5 cm closed, the Sport easily fits in a pocket or bag. With the cap posted, it extends to 13 cm, creating a full-sized writing instrument — perfectly captured by Kaweco’s famous motto: “small in the pocket, large in the hand.”

The Brass Sport is crafted from solid, untreated CNC-machined brass. Over time, the surface naturally develops a rich, individual patina, giving each pen unique character. If preferred, it can be polished back to its original shine.

Hand-assembled in Germany and fitted with a German-made nib (available from EF to BB), this pen delivers a smooth, reliable writing experience suited to everyday notes or special correspondence.

Presented in a Kaweco gift tin and supplied with a standard international ink cartridge, it makes a thoughtful gift for writers, professionals, and stationery lovers.

Standard UK delivery is typically 2–4 working days. Delivery charges are £6.95 with free shipping offered on orders over £75.

Can I return or exchange an item?

We hope you’ll love your purchase, but if not, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for
a refund or exchange. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Unfortunately
you cannot return earrings for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty

The majority of our collection is British-made, with many items crafted here in East Anglia. Where we do source internationally, we ensure every piece ethically produced.

Do you only sell British-made items?

Our focus is on championing British makers, but we occasionally curate beautiful pieces
from overseas , always from trusted, ethical suppliers.

Do you have a physical shop I can visit?
